ONLINE GIVING
God's people have always been characterized by giving, but the way they've given has changed over time. For example, people no longer bring goats, sheep, calves and grain to God as they did in the Old Testament. Giving money is simpler, cleaner and theologically sounder since Jesus has made the ultimate sacrifice.
HOW CAN I GIVE?
As the way that money is exchanged changes, we at Itawamba Christian Church are extending members a new way to offer their financial gifts to God
Anyone who would like to give to Itawamba Christian Church online is welcome to do so through our church website. The system makes it easy to quickly transfer money from a bank account or debit card to the church safely and securely. One-time gifts and recurring withdrawals can both be set up, and gifts can be given either to the church's general fund or a specific church project.
We're excited to share that we’ve launched online giving at Itawamba Christian Church through Tithe.ly, a safe and secure giving platform that allows you to give one-time or recurring gifts!
You can get started by using one of the below options.
1. Tithe.ly Giving App:
Download the Tithe.ly App from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android). Once you've downloaded the app, select your church and follow the same steps as above.
• Since this is your first time giving with Tithe.ly you will be prompted to create an account that you can use for all future gifts.
• The first time you will also need to add your credit/debit card or ACH/banking info.
• Once your account has been created you won’t need to enter your personal or payment information. Just enter your PIN and give!
• A reminder you have the ability to set your gift up as recurring.
2. Website Giving:
Click on this link www.itawambachristainchurch.org/giving to give through the church website. It's a safe and easy way to give any time.
At the Itawamba Christian Church, we'll continue to take an offering during the service for people who prefer to give by cash or check.
Giving is an important aspect of the Christian life. After all, Luke records that Jesus himself said,
"It is more blessed to give than to receive"
(Acts 20:35)
At Itawamba Christian Church, we want to encourage all members to pray about giving and give as God leads them. For those who prefer an online way to give, the church website now offers one. Please contact the church for help with giving through the site.
